Goodlife offers up to date circuit equipment for those looking to do a good work out that focuses on all the core muscles, in just 20 minutes. Goodlife offers MANY services and amenities that you're able to benefit from as a club Member. There is something for everyone to be able to set practical and safe fitness goals that are attainable, with staff on site to help with any questions. 

When first introduced to Goodlife, I had NO CLUE how to use any of the equipment, what excercises to do and I most certainly didn't think about posture or amount of weight that was safe for me to lift. I had not worked out in a gym ever, but I was eager to learn the different equipment and exercises that were going to get me back into shape. The first couple of weeks were spent working on developing new habits - personal habits, omitting bad habit and paying attention to eating habits. After 2 weeks, new routines were established and I was on my way to a healthier me. 

Dry sauna

Can you stand the heat? Sitting in a hot little room doesn’t sound too appealing, but you might be surprised at what a good sauna sweat can do for you. First and foremost it helps your body release toxins and opens up your pores helping to release any blockages that may have built up there. If you often feel stiff after a workout, a session in the sauna is a great way to relax your muscles, plus research has shown that there is a 30 percent increase in your pulse rate, so even though you’re just hanging out, your heart is still working hard. Be sure to keep your sauna time to 15 minutes, and drink plenty of water before, during and after. If you have any health concerns, talk to your doctor before using a sauna.

Rinse and repeat

You probably already know this, but you need to shower after a workout, especially if you’ve worked up a good sweat. Not only will you wash off the smell, but you’ll also be washing away bacteria which can lead to rashes and breakouts if left too long on the skin. Sweat also helps breed fungus-which is a big fan of dark and damp areas. If you’re brave, try having a cold shower. It will help with muscle recovery, stimulate circulation, stimulate your immune system and help your body rid itself of toxins. 

Massage chairs

You might not have time to always fit in a full hour Swedish massage, but a quick 10 minute sit in a massage chair while you check your emails can actually do a world of good. Getting a massage from a chair helps improve your posture by relaxing muscles and aligning the spine, which reduces pressure on nerves. They can also help relieve stress, improve circulation and blood pressure, and relax and loosen those sore muscles. Plus, they’re right there on your way out, so you don’t have to wait for an appointment or travel to the spa.

Enjoy a class when it suits your schedule. The virtual fitness room is HUGE with nice natural lighting and floor model tv projecting your workout. This virtual fitness room is closed off from the main work out areas allowing you to really get into your work out.
